Oswego and HOME!🏡

More locks, 31 to be exact. That makes 104 since we left Fair Haven 9 months ago.

Straight ahead is a welcome sight, Lake Ontario. This was the last lock on the Erie Canal
    section of the Oswego River.

Oswego Lighthouse. Left turn and 14 miles on the big lake to home.

One of our 2 neighbors, Margaret and Tom Hanford shooting off their cannon
to welcome us home. On the other side of the bay, Pete Hanford did the same. We then
"crossed our wake" after over 5,000 miles on our boat to become officially
     Gold  Loopers.

An incredible journey circumnavigation the entire eastern half of the U.S. We traveled in
rain, sun, high winds, salt water and fresh water and incredible tides. We had a U.S. Navy
Attack submarine surface on our bow which scared the hell out of us. We met many new
friends from all over the country with one common goal, completing the "loop".

Highlights........Mackinac Island, traveling right through downtown Chicago, The mighty
Mississippi, The 17 hour, overnight crossing of the Gulf of Mexico, The Golf Hall of Fame,
Visiting friends in Hilton Head, Charleston (what an incredable city), Georgetown S.C.
(a must visit if in South Carolina), Deltaville, VA., Jersey Shore, NYC and the Statue of
Liberty, the beauty of the Hudson Valley and finally, our home port, Fair Haven.
